The LiLi Centre was founded in 2016 as a not for profit organisation. It is entirely run by volunteers, who give their time and expertise to keep this community centre open and thriving.
President: Charlie Hartmann
Charlie Hartmann was born in England but grew up in Corsica. She met her Swiss husband over 30 years ago, they lived abroad for 10 years before moving to Switzerland in 2000. She is passionate about helping people with their integration process and is a governmental advisor on the topic of integration. She is dedicated to helping people in central Switzerland to connect, grow and thrive.
Vice President: Amanda Shaw
Amanda was born in London, England and has lived in various countries around the world; including the past 17 years in Asia before moving to Switzerland in 2017. Whilst Amanda’s first degree was in Business Information Technology, she left the corporate world of Seattle to pursue her passion in Education. As a published author of teaching pedagogy, founder of her own tutorial school and Head of ESL training for the United Nations in Bangkok, she now works in mainstream education in Switzerland. She joined the Lili Centre soon after arriving in Lucerne and enjoys playing an active role as Vice President.
Treasurer: Cristina Quesado
Cristina Quesado was born in Portugal. Ten years ago, she and her family started their adventure in the world. They have lived and worked in several countries within Europe and in the Middle East. She is a professional accountant and a Certified Financial Analyst with more than 15 years of experience in the Finance field.
Volunteer Coordinator: Lina Petraviciute
Lina was born in Lithuania and has lived in Switzerland since 2016. She has a wealth of experience in Integration/Immigration Project, including Vice President at LivingIn for Central Switzerland. She is a member of the Integration Committee of Stadt Luzern, and a Global Brand Development and Communications Manager, and a Mentor at JIFF Programme among other projects.
